The curator council of the Father Anchieta Foundation, which manages, imposed on Tuesday (25) a defeat to the state secretary of Culture, Marília Marton, by rejecting a name appointed by her to the body.
Marton, representative of the Tarcísio de Freitas Government Council, supported filmmaker André Sturm, who had 17 votes among the counselors. The vacancy was with the teacher and journalist Rosane da Silva Borges, who got 24 votes.
On the 12th, the counselors had already brushed four new members for the Council – Luciana Temer, Octavio de Barros, Drauzio Varella and Miguel Reale Júnior – and reappointed Maria Alice Setúbal and Maria Hermínia Tavares de Almeida.
The Foundation is experiencing a tense moment, marked by an open dispute with state management.

He said he will not seek reelection after the end of his term in June. The advice will be responsible for choosing its successor.
