Will Dorival Junior be fired? Can Filipe Luís take over the selection?
So far, the CBF has not yet positioned the future of Dorival Júnior in charge of the national team. The entity’s president, Ednaldo Rodrigues, showed back the coach after his reelection in the position of the CBF, but the situation may change in the coming days.
According to the profile ‘Cup Night’, on social network X, the name of Filipe Luís is consensus within the CBF. However, there are still no negotiations at the moment, as Dorival, at least for now, is the coach of the national team.
In case of defeat to Argentina, Dorival Junior is in serious danger of being fired from the national team. Consensus’s name to replace him is Filipe Luis, although Ednaldo is very fond of Vitória’s Tiago Carpini.
