If you want to stop wasting food, especially vegetables, this is a great trick. Just store the remnants of vegetables that you would otherwise throw away and grow new vegetables at home. Look.
Certainly it happened to you that you saw some vegetables or fruits in action, you bought it too much, and then you found that you could not consume all the amount. You probably fired the remnants in the trash. This happens, but the waste of food is not really good. Therefore, it is possible to use this simple trick, thanks to which you can practice your cultivation skills. Of these 14 plants, you can store the remnants, and then grow new ones at home.

Which plants bought can be grown at home
We are the first to have garlic here. When you put garlic you don’t need or start germinating in a pantry, a glass of water, you can grow garlic sprouts. You can then use them for example in salad or just as a decoration in the home. Another plant that can be grown at home is carrots. What do you usually do with carrots? Cut it and throw it out, right? But from this end you can grow a brand new carrot. Just put the end with the root in a bowl with a little water. Then put on the window sill, and you will see that the carrot will grow in a few weeks.
The third plant, whose remains you can use in this way, is mint. Mint propagation is very simple. Place its cutlet in a glass of water. You will see that it will grow its roots in a moment, and you will be able to move it into the pot. You can do the same with the fourth plant, or lemon grass. The fifth plant you can grow again is the leek. It grows very easily in the water. Just take its bottom, put it in a glass of water and place it in a sunny place. In a few days you will germinate and you will be able to use it in different recipes in a week.
The number six is basil. When you put several cuttings in the water and place it in the direct sun, the roots begin to grow. When they are about five centimeters long, just move it into the flowerpot and watch how a brand new basil is growing. Number seven occupied the salad. The stem from the head of the Roman salad can be placed in a bowl with 1 to 2 centimeters of water and placed on a window sill. New leaves will be seen in two weeks. The eighth plant, from the rest of which you can grow a brand new plant, is onion. Its cultivation is easy as a slap. Place the white ends of the roots in a glass of water and leave the tops uncovered. Put on a sunlight and in a week you will have the onion ready for other dishes.
You don’t waste and have free raw materials
Another plant that you can use in this way is fennel. Put one small schnitzel in a cup so that it is all covered. Place the cup in the sun and the fennel will germinate in a few days. Replace the water every few days and cut a little bit. Mushrooms are tenth. This is a bit more complicated, but nothing you couldn’t do. Put the stalks of mushrooms in the soil with a little compost, and keep them in a damp and cooler environment. Within a few days they will either peek new mushroom heads or mushrooms. But at least you tried.
Do not worry, of course there will also be potatoes that are the eleventh plant that you can grow from its residues. Cut the residues of unused potatoes into five -centimeter square pieces and let them germinate at room temperature. You can do the same with an IS number twelve or sweet potatoes. The penultimate plant is ginger. Place it in the soil to grow a new one. But it will take a few months. And the last fourteenth plant is the cabbage. Place the root end in the water and place in a sunny place. In a week or two you will be able to move cabbage into a pot and grow a new head.
