The image generation functionality was introduced last Tuesday (25) and allows you to create from diagrams, infographics and logos to business cards and image bank photos.

In addition, users can use images as a starting point to create personalized art, such as pet paintings or professional photo edits.

The feature began to be made available to users of Chatgpt Plus, Pro and Team versions, as well as users of the free version using the GPT-4 model. OpenAi said customers of Chatgpt Enterprise and Edu will have access to functionality next week.

Since release, images generated by the feature, such as anime rendered by users sent by users, have viralized on social networks.

OpenAi had already launched a model of image generation, the Dall-E, in 2021, which was integrated into the chatgpt in 2023.

Now, with the new functionality, users of the free version of ChatgPT will be able to generate up to three images a day, according to Altman.
