The City of Rio Branco, through the Municipal Civil Defense and the Secretariat of Social Assistance and Human Rights (SASDH), began on the morning of Thursday (27) to the return of families to their homes after the flood of the Acre River, which reached 43 neighborhoods in the Acrean capital.

In conversation with Contilnet, earlier this week, Civil Defense coordinator, Lieutenant Colonel Claudio Falcão stated that the return of families sheltered in the exhibition park would take place after the river reached 10 meters, however, there would be possibility that the return happen before if the conditions offered security.
On the morning of Thursday the spring recorded the mark of 11.62 meters, and even with the rains that took place last Wednesday (26), Rio did not show new elevation.

Each family will be delivered to cleaning kits for disinfection of environments affected by the Acre River flood, as well as a basic basket that will help in the costs of families during the return to their homes.
About 145 families are housed in the Exhibition Park, with a total of 436 people, who are being served with food, health and other activities.
The families who were housed at Willy Viana School in the Cidade Nova neighborhood returned to their homes on Tuesday (26), and all received the cleaning kits and basic baskets.
