The speakers generally ignored the elephant in the room: the absence of guests such as the German commissioner to fight anti -Semitism, Felix Klein; the chief rabbi of the Commonwealth, Ephraim Mirvis; or the well-known French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy; And the discomfort generated by the conference in the Jewish communities abroad, for the great weight of ultra -right -wing leaders in the program.
