Ingrid Vitória, 13, was kidnapped while returning from Curaçá, Bahia. She, her 3-year-old brother and her mother hired with a neighbor to the village of Caribbean, in the rural area of Santa Maria da Boa Vista, in the Sertão de Pernambuco, on Tuesday (25).
Near the final destination, the known driver of the family assaulted and tied the woman. Then he put the girl in the trunk of the car.
Ingrid’s mother filed a police report and reported that the suspect is known to the whole family. Man always used to offer rides.
The Civil Police of Pernambuco reported that the case is being investigated by the Santa Maria da Boa Vista police station, and the searches to the teenager have already started in the region.
This Wednesday (26), teams of the Fire Department, with sniffer dogs, the Tactical Air Tactical Group and the Civil and Military Police intensified the work to locate the teenager and the suspect.
The Commander of the Specialized Interior Policing Battalion (Bepi), Lieutenant Colonel Alessandro, appeals: “Any information that takes to the 13-year-old, as well as the suspect of the crime, should be immediately reported to the operations centers.”
