“What he fears is losing his power. It is a matter of society’s stability, but it also depends on his age. He (Putin) will die soon, and that is a fact, and everything will come to an end,” Zelensky said, when referring to the war.

Ukraine’s speech was made after rumors that Putin would be in health problems, including reports of strokes, cancer or even Parkinson. Speculation, however, have never been confirmed.

Before the interview, Zelensky had a meeting with France President Emmanuel Macron at the Elisha Palace in Paris to prepare a meeting that will discuss the direction of the war in Ukraine. “Europe knows how to defend itself. We have to prove it,” Zelensky shared on Thursday morning (27/3) on social networks.

In another publication, the president of Ukraine said Russia is responsible for prolonging the war. “Russia kills people every day and extends this war. The US proposal for an unconditional ceasefire has been at the table for half a month. Russian pressure is needed to save lives and make diplomacy work faster and effectively. No pressure on Russia, there will be no result.”

Zelensky also thanked France for helping Ukraine defend himself against Russian attacks. “The” Mirages ” – combat aircraft manufactured in France – had a very good performance. Thanks especially for them – they have already become part of our air shield and help us defend us mainly,” he shared.
