Comedian Juliana Oliveira, who worked until last year as a stage assistant to The Night, accused the host Otávio Mesquita de rape. The famous came in with one in the prosecutor of São Paulo (MP-SP) and says it was nicknamed the intimate parts by the artist during a recording.
According to the complaint, made public by columnist Monica Bergamo of the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, the moment Juliana Oliveira is played by Otávio Mesquita aired on April 25, 2016. According to the document, the presenter touched the breasts and private parts of the comedian, even though she trying to dodge and showing contrary to the situation.
A video that is already circulating on social networks on Thursday (27/3), allegedly, shows the moment when the presenter abuses the former stage assistant of Danilo Gentili. In the images, Otávio Mesquita appears hanging in a handle wearing a fantasy of the character Batman. He then squeezes his breasts and other parts of Juliana Oliveira as she helps the famous to remove the safety equipment.

Got annoyed
In the recording, the comedian seems to be annoyed by the situation. At another point, the presenter mimics sexual movements while embracing the comedian. “Juliana is doing an ugly face, but I know she liked it,” says Danilo Gentili, after the incident. “I’m going to say something to you that in your story, apart from your boyfriends, no one did. Unintentionally, I tightened her breasts… ‘It’s hard’, ‘it’s hard’,” says Mesquita at one point.
The video generated reactions on the internet. “You can clearly see that she gets bothered… She complains twice, and makes an ugly face… He made it in the joke, but has to know how to do it without disturbing,” said Gabriel Henrique. “In the video, Juliana seems to be very uncomfortable with the situation. Probably, he took advantage,” noted Natan Silva.
Denied the accusations
Otávio Mesquita denied any sexual abuse in response to Folha and assured that it was all a joke previously combined with Juliana Oliveira before the recordings. “It’s absurd [essa acusação]. That was recorded. It took nine years and did it only now because it was fired and is upset, ”said the presenter.
Also according to Mesquita, the artist could have asked SBT so that the moment would not air if he had been embarrassed. “My ex-wife and my son were there in the audience. There was no rape. It was a joke,” he said. The presenter stressed that he did not receive any notification about the representation and will sue Juliana for the damage caused to his image.
