Tesla’s launch event in Riyadh, scheduled for April 10, will serve the company to display its electric vehicles (EVs) and solar -powered products.

A month after the dispute with Musk became public, Saudi Arabia Sovereign Fund-PIF-announced an investment of more than $ 1 billion at Lucid, becoming the majority investor in one of EV startups seeking to challenge Tesla.
The $ 925 billion PIF also invested in an EV domestic brand that has not yet been released, called Ceer.
However, large vehicles that consume a lot of gasoline remain the standard on Saudi roads, where fuel is cheap and the infrastructure to carry an EV remains a rarity, making the crossing of its long desert roads almost impossible in the car.
