SAO PAULO (Reuters)-Tupy () announced on Wednesday night that it hit new contracts with two vehicle automakers involving structural components and manufacturing on extra-respected truck engines, according to a relevant fact to the market.
The company stated that when contracts reach the potential contracted, the company will have additional revenue of $ 250 million per year.
In one of the agreements, Tupy will be responsible for the manufacture, machining and premium of motor head, with revenues from 2027.
In the other, which starts in 2028, the company will manufacture the block that will be used in new generations of automaker engines.
Tupy did not identify the automakers but said they together together, 50% of the Brazilian market of extra -weight trucks.
Currently, both automakers produce components in Europe.
