Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that Russia’s conditions for a ceasefire in the Black Sea are “unrealistic.” He also accused Russia of trying to postpone negotiations for more land in Ukraine.

Zelensky said Russian artillery damaged Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in the city of Kherson on the front line two days after the US announced that both sides had agreed with a truce in the energy sector attacks.
“Two days ago, there was a night when there were no attacks on the energy sector, today the energy infrastructure in the city of Kherson was damaged by the Russian artillery,” Zelensky said in Paris. “I believe the US should respond with actions.”
On Tuesday (25) to interrupt Black Sea attacks against energy facilities, the first agreement since Donald Trump returned to the White House in January.
“By our side, while no one understands who is monitoring what… all (evidence) will be prepared and transferred to the US, and after that we are waiting for the reaction of the United States, as they told us that they will respond to violations,” Zelensky said after a summit of Ukraine allies in the French capital.
Kherson’s regional governor, Oleksandr Prokudin, said authorities were working to restore energy for consumers who had been left without supply as a result of Russian bombing.
Moscow accused Kiev on Wednesday (26) to use drones to attack energy facilities in the Russian regions of Kursk and Bryansk, and the occupied Peninsula of Crimea.
The Ukrainian military denied these accusations.
“The military (Russians) continue to produce lies, the military said in a statement in the Telegram application.
Russia, which launched a large -scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and now has about 20% of the country, claims that it has completed a truce of attacks on energy facilities since March 18. Ukraine says Russia has attacked eight Ukrainian energy facilities since that date.
Zelensky also said in Paris that he believes the Trump government’s posture regarding Russia should be harder, adding that Ukraine needs Washington’s help to be strong in negotiations.
