The National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel), said on Friday (28) that the tariff flag for April will be green, without extra charge in the fare.
According to a note published by the regulatory agency, even with the transition from the rainy to dry period, the generation of hydroelectric plants, cheaper than the thermal generation, continues at stable levels.
Despite favorable conditions, the regulatory agency asks consumers to maintain good consumer habits
“Aneel stresses that it is crucial to maintain good consumer habits to avoid waste and contribute to the sustainability of the electricity sector,” says the note.
The flag has been in force since December 2024, when the agency changed the color of the yellow flag to green after the end of drought and rainfall in the country.
