PSOL criticizes Prisometer for being on Portuguese stones – 28/03/2025 – Panel

In the complaint offered to the State to determine whether there were acts of administrative misconduct, Councilman Celso Giannazi and Deputies Luciene Cavalcante (Federal) and Carlos Giannazi (state) state that, for the installation of the panel, Portuguese stones were removed.

Prosecutor Marcus Vinicius Monteiro dos Santos granted, in his order signed on Tuesday (25), the 30-day period to the Municipal Government Secretariat and Conpress (Municipal Council for the Preservation of Historical, Cultural and Environmental Heritage) to present documents that authorized the installation.

“The removal of protected architectural elements constitutes an act harmful to the city’s historical and cultural heritage,” wrote the psoalists.

The prisometer is a three -meter -high LED panel and one meter long that exposes data as a number of fugitives from justice captured, arrested in the act and people found with the help of monitoring cameras installed by the city.

Parliamentarians also question whether the equipment is in accordance with the Clean City Law.

“Mayor Ricardo Nunes has contempt for the cultural historical heritage. Recently, there was the demolition of a theater in the People’s Park. The mayor cannot act out of law, and we congratulate the action of the prosecutor asking these questions,” said Celso Giannazi.
