SAO PAULO, SP (UOL/FOLHAPRESS) – The UK interior office announced today the banishment of ninja swords amid the wave of violence with white weapons that reaches the union.
Pegas with ninja swords can spend between six months and two years in prisons. In addition, the penalty for carrying any type of weapon on the streets is imprisonment for up to four years. The possession, manufacturing, importation and sale of such swords will be prohibited from August 1.
Government prepares “more ambitious” weapon delivery scheme. Throughout July, British will be able to deliver their ninja swords to the country with compensation to police stations, or place them in boxes distributed throughout the streets.
Law takes name of a 2023 -year -old sword -dead teenager. Ronan Kanda, 16, was murdered a few meters from home by two teenagers, who carried a ninja sword and a machete purchased online. Veadhesa and Sukhman Shergill, both 17, were sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime, which actually aimed at a friend of Ronan.
Ninja sword ban was Prime Minister’s promise of campaign, Keir Stmerer. In January 2024, he said he was “horrified” with the ease he had to buy weapons online, and promised that he would make it difficult to buy and sell knives, machetes and swords.
Brazilian killed teenager in attack with ninja swords in London last year. Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo, hispano-Brazilian, killed 14-year-old teenager Daniel Anjorin, who was walking to his school. Monzo still injured four other people, three of them police. He has been detained ever since.
