(CPTM) has announced that it will make important operational changes due to works of enhancement and update of the railway, scheduled for this weekend. The interventions, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, aim to replace rails, welding, tension relief, and discharge of materials.

At Palmeiras-Barra Funda station, only the seven Rubi line platform will be available for boarding and disembarking. However, the most significant changes will occur in line 10 turquoise, between 9am and 6pm on Sunday. During this period, the Mayor Saladino and Utinga stations will not be boarding and disembarked, affecting passengers to Jundiaí, who will need to seek alternative routes.

At Santo André Station, the trains will use platform four exclusively, while at Caieiras and Perus stations, only the two -in -operation platform will be in operation. In addition, the removal of vegetation that interferes with the transmission electric lines is also foreseen, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the system.

In addition to interventions on Turquoise Line, adjustments and maintenance will be made on the 11 Coral and 12 Sapphire lines. CPTM recommends that users follow up updates on official channels to inform themselves about logistics changes and plan their trips in advance.
