Diney investigated by US regulator for promoting diversity

Since its return in January to the White House that Donald Trump has been trying to dismantle minority inclusion programs in all sectors of US society.

The two companies are being aimed at the efforts of the administration of US President Donald Trump to eliminate programs of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in places such as universities, government agencies or large companies.

“I am concerned about the fact that ABC and their parent company have promoted and may still be promoting unfair forms of Dei in a way that is not in accordance with FCC regulations,” Brendan Carr wrote in a letter to the entertainment company and was revealed on the social network X (former Twitter).

Disney has placed among its priorities to promote diversity and “apparently made it in a way that infected many aspects of your company’s decisions,” according to the leader.

In February, Brendan Carr had already informed Comcast and NBC Universal about the investigations they faced due to their efforts as their equality, thanking the president for their efforts to “eradicate SED’s scourge.”

Trump has been trying to dismantle Inclusion Programs

Since its return in January to the White House that Donald Trump has been trying to dismantle minority inclusion programs in all sectors of US society.

The Republican has declared illegal programs within the Federal State and threatens to process the companies that implement them.

Earlier this month, historian Kevin Levin, an American Civil War expert, reported that Arlington’s National Cemetery had begun to erase the history of black and Hispanic military and Hispanic military women.

Descendants of US natives, who played a key role during World War II, were shocked to find that the contributions had been taken from public records.

Companies eliminated diversity programs

In addition to federal institutions, several large American companies – including Google, Meta, Amazon and McDonalds – totally eliminated their Dei programs or reduced us significantly.

The measures were born from the struggle for civil rights in the 1960s, led mainly by African Americans, to promote equality and justice after hundreds of years of slavery and racial segregation.

Currently, American blacks and other minorities continue to face disproportionate levels of police violence, detention, poverty and hate crimes, according to official data.
