In connection with the declaration of an extraordinary situation related to the occurrence of a clinker and a coffin (Slak) The police allow a general exemption for selected trucks from Sunday until further notice.
The exemption applies to marked vehicles ensuring the transport of animal kadavers spent under the extraordinary measures of the Chief Veterinary doctor of the Slovak Republicas well as for vehicles providing service and transport of disinfectants, equipment and protective equipment necessary to implement these measures. TASR informed the spokesman of the Presidium of the Police Force Roman Hajek.
“These vehicles can move on motorways, first -class roads, roads for motor vehicles and roads for international traffic in connection with the fulfillment of measures and securing the necessary service,” the spokesman said.
However, the police warn that the authorization of the police is not affected by the authorization of the police to regulate traffic if necessary. Police officers may stop the driver or determine the direction of its route if the safety or fluency of road traffic so requires.
At the same time, the police appeals to all road users to increase caution and respected the instructions of the Police Force, as well as traffic signs and temporary measures related to the emergency situation.
