A Climatempo announced on Friday (28) that cold air currents should arrive in Brazil in the first half of April. Climate changes should occur in the southern states and in some areas of the Southeast and the Midwest.
The warning came from meteorologist Vinícius Lucyrio of Climatempo’s climate forecasting team.
“April marks this ‘key turn’ at temperature, with the entry of the first cold air masses through some areas of the interior of Brazil already in the first half of the month,” said Lucyrio.
“The month of April will still be predominantly hot in part of the south, in the Southeast and Midwest, only with these brief peaks of cold,” added the meteorologist.
A Climatempo It estimated a minimum temperature values, but stresses that the data is based on initial forecasts, and will be reevaluated as cold air is approaching the country.
