Project inspired by Larissa Manoela was approved by the House of Representatives

This week, it approved a bill that allows justice to limit the access of parents or responsible to the financial resources of children and adolescents. The proposal was inspired by the case involving the singer and actress, who in 2023 revealed to Fantástico that she gave up $ 18 million to avoid a court dispute with her parents, who managed her career and limited her access to her own money.

According to Larissa, she had only 2% of the company created by her parents. The young woman also revealed that even after turning 18, she still had to ask for money for simple things, such as eating a corn on the beach.

The project talks about the right of children and adolescents to protect against abusive conduct of parents or anyone who manages the goods obtained by minors from artistic, sports, scientific, among others. If the proposal is approved by the Senate, the abusive conduct of those responsible will be configured through indiscriminate use, the prohibition of access and the improper appropriation of the values. The text also determines that parents will need to be managed at least every two years.
