Moraes determines house arrest of a woman involved in the scammer acts of January 8

This Friday (28), the minister of the Federal Supreme Court () granted a house arrest to Débora Rodrigues dos Santos, accused of participating in the scammer acts of January 8, 2023 and of spraying the phrase “lost, Mané” in the statue of justice. The decision was motivated by a request for freedom made by the defense of the hairdresser. She will get out of jail and should serve house arrest in Paulínia (SP), where she lives.

Deborah will use the electronic anklet, will not be able to use social networks and is also prohibited from communicating with other investigators. In addition, it cannot give national or international press interviews to the press, blogs and podcasts without authorization from the Supreme Court. If these determinations are breached, it will return to the prison.

The Attorney General’s Office () has spoken out against release, however, argued that Deborah’s preventive arrest may be replaced by home arrest because she has two minor children and, according to criminal law, is entitled to the benefit.
