De de is adopting strict measures to ensure safety during the festival, which takes place this weekend in São Paulo. In order to protect the public and ensure that the event occurs without incidents, the corporation mobilized a contingent of 10,000 agents to patrol the streets, with special focus in the South Zone, where the Interlagos racetrack is located, the festival site. Patrol, which began on March 20, will extend until April 4, covering not only the festival days, but also the subsequent period, to ensure continuous security in the region.

The safety operation will have the support of 500 vehicles and the “Eagle Eye” air monitoring system, which uses drones to watch over large agglomerations. This system has been effective at large events, such as Carnival and New Year’s Eve celebrations on Paulista Avenue, and will be a crucial tool for monitoring the festival.

In addition to policing the outskirts of the event, the Military Police will make a mobile unit of the Specialized Division of Tourist Care within the race track. This unit is prepared to support victims of violence, theft or theft, with agents trained to record occurrences on site.

To better serve foreign tourists who participate in the festival, at least one agent will be fluent in English and Spanish, ensuring that communication is not a barrier in emergency situations. Women’s security is also a priority, with the presence of at least one female agent in the mobile unit to assist victims of sexual harassment.
