The Compart Group won on Friday the public-private partnership auction (PPP) promoted by the São Paulo government involving operation, maintenance and modernization of three urban line lines, with a 2.57% discount offer on the state consideration.
The auction involved the 11-coral lines, 12-Safira and 13-jade of urban trains, called the Alto Tietê lot. The behave disputed the event with CCR (), which offered a 1.45% disagreement over the state consideration.
For the model adopted for the auction, the concessionaire will have to build, with the financial support of the State of São Paulo, eight stations, renovate another 24 and rebuild four, and will also have to expand the lines in a total of 25 kilometers. The state’s maximum consideration is R $ 1.49 billion per year.
The main works will have to be delivered in the first seven years of contract, and all works by 2040.
Line 11-Coral will be extended to the César de Souza district in Mogi das Cruzes, receiving four new stations.
