Robinho has never taken a book from the library and does not do labor therapy activities (therapeutic approach to treat psychological and mental problems) since he was taken to Tremembé Penitentiary, in the interior of São Paulo, in April 2024. The report is from penitentiary agents heard by Sheet. They follow the routine of the striker who has already dressed the shirts of Santos, Real Madrid and Brazilian National Team and fulfills a sentence of nine years in prison for the crime of collective rape, committed in Italy, in 2013.
Since he was integrated into the prison mass, he has quickly entered the detainees who organize the games within the unit and began to make football their main hobby. He even gained a pair of boots and became the main attraction of the dirt field of the penitentiary.
It has also made friends with other incarcerated. Robinho is often seen talking to João Gilberto Corognotto, known Magnata do Café, arrested on charges of involvement with the CCP. They have residence in the same condominium in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo.
When he is in the dormitory pavilion, he is usually inside the cell and talks a lot with Sérgio Freitas, former mayor of Igarapava, sentenced to 30 years in prison closed by the death of his predecessor at City Hall, Gilberto Soares dos Santos, Giriri, in 1998.
His fame in the penitentiary, however, also arouses envy. According to agents heard by the report, the former athlete has frequent disagreements with Thiago Brennand. The businessman, arrested in July 2024, has three convictions that add up to 20 years in prison closed by sexual crimes and physical aggression.
According to the reports of the agents, Robinho and Brennand vie for the attention of the prison population and always exchange provocations about their goods, travel and situations that lived outside prison. Sought by the report, lawyer Roberto Podval, who represents Brennand, said he had no knowledge about the subject and would not talk about his client’s life in prison.
Despite the friction with Brennand, the São Paulo State Penal Police reported that Robinho has had good behavior in prison. In a note sent to the report on the 21st, when the former athlete completed a year arrested, the agency also pointed out that he participates in physical activities and concluded the ten modules of the Education and Citizenship Education Program.
The agents heard by Sheethowever, they pointed out that he also provided the Encceja (National Examination for the Certification of Youth and Adult Competences) and was failed in the Mathematics discipline.
They also said that he participates in evangelical cults, whose pastor is his acquaintance and only began to minister in the prison unit after Robinho was taken there.

The list of those who ever went to the prison to see it is not disclosed by SAP (Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration), but there have been those who publicly express his desire to visit him, such as former coach Emerson Leão.

With the renovation of his sentence, in addition to reducing the penalty based on behavior within the prison, the former athlete expects, at least, to pass to the semi-open regime soon.
On Friday (28), the Supreme Court began analyzing one of the defense resources. The lawyers insist on suspension of serving the sentence. The rapporteur, Luiz Fux, voted to reject the request. The trial takes place in the virtual plenary and is scheduled to last until next Friday.
The defense of the former player, led by lawyer José Eduardo Alckmin, with the main office in Brasilia, did not answer calls, nor responded to messages to comment on his routine in prison, nor about the appeal he seeks in the Supreme Court.
