Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra said the country “returned to normal” after a strong earthquake shakes the capital.
Shinawatra stated that only one building collapsed in Bangkok, adding that the building was under construction and that no other building in the city suffered a similar impact.
“We in charge of the Department of Public Works and Urban and Rural Planning to investigate what happened and what would be future standards,” said the prime minister.
At least 10 people died in Thailand as a result of the tremor.
In the neighboring country, Myanmar, epicenter of the earthquake, with groups of help still struggling to reach those who need help.
