The deputy governor of, Felicio Ramuth (), promoted a change of route on his social networks and adopted positions of pockets, such as denying that January 8 was an attempt to blow and criticize the penalties applied to participants in undemocratic attacks.
The shift occurred amid speculation about the future of the current governor, (Republicans), given the possible arrest of the former president (), defendant at the Supreme Court (STF) on charges of leading the coup plot, and negotiations about who will succeed him in Sao Paulo.
On Instagram, Felício criticized the 14 -year sentence that can be imposed on hairdresser Débora Rodrigues dos Santos, accused of participating in the attempted coup that chipped the statue “The Justice” at the Supreme headquarters in 2023.
He also criticized the use of the word “blow” to describe the events of that date. “Throughout history, the left and PT have always used the word ‘blow’ in times of political crisis,” he said on a video.
Over the two years when Felício held the position of Vice of Tarcisio, he used his social networks to publicize actions with which he was related to the government, especially programs related to the revitalization of the center of the capital.
Now, in addition to the publications of Tom Bolsonarista that are already in the air, the deputy governor’s team prepares new messages with criticism of inflation and government policies (PT). The first, published on Thursday night (27), states that the petista supports the Hamas group and shows a demonstration of the Palestinian population against the group.
The bet on the political environment in the state is that Tarcísio will leave office next year to run for the presidency with Bolsonaro’s support, bringing together antipetist votes from all over the country. The possibility, still uncertain, has already begun a dispute opened by Felicio among center-right politicians.
In recent weeks alone, the state secretary of government and president of the PSD, the president of the Paulista Assembly, André do Prado (PL), and the federal deputy (Novo-SP) presented themselves as possible postulants to the government next year, seeking votes ranging from the center voter to the scholarship. The mayor of the capital, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), also avoids promising that he will be in office until the end of his term.
The state secretary of public security, federal deputy licensed by the PL, is another who articulates behind the scenes to run for office, according to allies, although his name has not yet released in public.
Publicly, Felício has been removed from the dispute so far. According to allies, he tells whom he asks him that his relationship with Tarcisio is good and that the pressures about his position come from outside, not from the Allies of the Bandeirantes Palace.
But if the party managers’ bet is confirmed and Tarcisio resign in 2026 to try Planalto, Felício will become governor and will have a chance to seek reelection with the advantage of commanding the São Paulo public machine, whose budget is $ 372 billion.
On the other hand, the deputy rules out the same strategy that (PSB) followed in 2018, according to interlocutors.
The current minister of entrepreneurship was Geraldo Alckmin’s deputy (today at the PSB) when the then toucan left Bandeirantes to run for the presidency. The PSDB launched to the government, but France decided to run against the former allies.
Interlocutors Felicio denies that it would go out in a dispute against Tarcisio’s political group next year if they were in government. However, like the pre-candidates already declared, he admits his nearby circle that he would compete if he had support from the governor, although he claims that he could help Tarcisio working with him in Brasilia in the event of a victory.
Kassab, president of the PSD, does not hide the desire to dispute the government. From the electoral movements they brought wear to his relationship with Tarcisio. The PSD is known in the political environment for its pragmatism, to the point that the subtitle be part of both the Tarcisio and Lula management government.
HAS Sheet Felício denied that the change in his social networks is a first step to a state pre-candidacy. “My positions are center-right. I think it’s time for people to know what I think about policy and public management,” he said.
Former Tucano, he was mayor of São José dos Campos, 91 km from the capital, and gained regional projection, especially for policies aimed at public safety.
In 2020, while holding the position, Ramuth criticized the then President Bolsonaro about acting in Covid’s pandemic. “So far, it has been silent. Then he will have to bear the consequences,” said the then mayor, in an interview with the local media.
A member of the first level of Tarcisio said that the deputy consulted the governor about the posts of Bolsonarist content on the social network. He asked if he had hit the tone and Tarcisio said yes.
In São José dos Campos, Felício built his career by rivalry with petist names, such as former mayor Ângela Guadagnin. She became famous in a national scale by starring in the “Pizza Dance”-a celebration made at the House Plenary in 2006, after Deputy João Magno (PT-MG) gets rid of the cassation in the monthly process.
