Basic Rules – Light
Fíkus is a house tree and handles various light conditions, from weak, indirect sunlight, to bright. To be successful in your home, make sure when you select a habitat for it, leave it there forever and you will not move it back and forth. It is through a flower pot that can cause leaves to fall. The change in the environment does not tolerate best.
If you think of moving it out, prepare to drop the leaves. But there is no need to panic if you give him a hearty intake of morning light and afternoon shadow, in a short time he will grow new leaves. He will thrive outside until the weather permits.

Soil
Fíkus requires well -drained soil, which should remain slightly moist. It prefers drainage vessels to ensure excess water drain.
Fertilizer
It is recommended to use conventional, universal fertilizer, once a month at the time of its vertget, ie in the spring and summer, when it grows more briskly. It is not recommended to fertilize outside the growing season. As soon as you “over -fertilize”, the plant will not endure it well, because it does not grow and therefore does not need any nutrients.
Beware of nibbling animals
These trees contain latex and become toxic to us people and be careful on animals at home that tends to nibble where what, and flowers. Keep them away from the ficus.
