The Civil Defense coordinator of the state capital, Lieutenant Colonel Claudio Falcão made the announcement that the last family homeless by the floods of the Acre River left the exhibition park in Rio Branco.

The withdrawal was held on Friday (28), at 6 pm. In all, 175 families were taken to the scene throughout the operation carried out by the Civil Defense teams.

“Thank God, we have been able to complete the demobilization of the shelters. There were no incidents and we are watching families. Now we are dismantling the structures and returning to addresses to bring more help,” Falcão told Gazeta do Acre.

In all, 43 neighborhoods and 19 rural communities in the state capital were affected by the 2025 flood, the number of affected people can exceed 31 thousand.
