The Palestinian red crescent has reported this Sunday of the discovery of 14 bodies of cooperators, eight of which would belong to six of the missing health technicians for a week after an Israeli military intervention in the south of the Gaza Strip. Palestinian authorities denounce that some of the bodies were handcuffed, they were shot in the chest and were buried to avoid their location.
“14 bodies have been recovered so far, including eight of the Palestinian Red Crescent technicians who had disappeared more than a week after being the subject of an intense fire of the Israeli occupation forces,” he denounced the Palestinian red crescent in a statement published in his account in the social network X.
The Palestinian red crescent has thus denounced the death of its toilets “attacked by the Israeli army when they performed their humanitarian functions.” “They responded to an emergency call to attend to the injured of an Israeli air attack in the area of Al Hashashin, in Rafá, in the Gaza Strip,” he said.
A ninth healthcare worker of the Palestine Red Crescent “is still missing and is believed to have been arrested,” explains the organization, which publishes the names of the deceased: Mustafa Jafaya, Ezedín Shaat, Salé Muamar, Rifaat Raduán, Mohamad Behlul, Ashraf Abú Labda, Mohamad Al Hila and Raed al Sharif.
The other four deceased are three workers of the Palestinian civil defense and “a worker from a United Nations agency,” according to the Palestinian humanitarian organization.
“We continue working to recover more corpses. #Nosomosomosunobjective #Derechinternacional Humanitario #Héroeshumanitarios #gaza,” concludes the message of the Palestinian red crescent.
The Palestinian red crescent had denounced the disappearance of nine Palestinian paramedics seven days ago “after they were besieged and attacked by the occupation forces.”
“They were besieged and attacked by the occupation forces in Rafá. Today (on Saturday), the occupation refused to allow the rescue team to enter the Tel to Sultan area to look for missing crews,” the organization denounced through a previous message also published in its X account.
The Ministry of Health of the Gazatí Government, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), has condemned the “atrocious crime committed by the occupation by attacking paramedics and medical staff of the Palestinian Red Crescent while carrying out their humanitarian missions.”
“Some of these bodies were tied, they have shots in the chest and were buried in a deep hole so that evidence could not be found,” the ministry said in a statement. Therefore, it asks for an urgent international investigation to elucidate the responsibility of Israeli forces in these “crimes.”
