Digital influencer Beatriz dos Anjos Miranda, 24, was murdered at dawn on Saturday (29) in Maracanaú, in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza. The victim’s ex-boyfriend, Antonio Lício Morais da Costa, 20, was arrested in the act, accused of femicide. According to police, Beatriz was in her ex-boyfriend’s car when the two had a discussion. During the fight, Costa would have gone to the back seat of the vehicle and hanged her with her seat belt. Then he abandoned the car in a subdivision and burned the vehicle with the young woman’s body inside.
The Fire Department was called to contain the flames and found the victim’s body with signs of violence. Costa was located and arrested by a military police team. The Ceará Public Security Secretariat reported that the suspect already had criminal records for crimes against public administration, contempt and resistance.
