The leading scientist and head of the vaccine regulatory authority at Dr. Peter Marx has resigned, denouncing the new Minister of Health’s anti -scientific positions,
In a catastrophe letter, Dr. Marx accuses Kennedy of moving misinformation and lies, which he described as “irresponsible, harmful to public health and a pure threat to the country’s national security”.
According to Sky News, in an official statement, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health said: “If Peter Marx does not want to support the restoration of science in her gold model and promote radical transparency, then he has no place on the FDA under the strong leadership of the Minister.”
Dr. Marx had played a central role in the approval of the first vaccines against COVID-19 in 2020. Head of the FDA’s Organic Products Assessment and Research Center was responsible for the safety and effectiveness of vaccines and other organic drugs.
“Kennedy does not want the truth, he wants to confirm his lies”
In his resignation letter, Dr. Marx noted that he was initially willing to work with the new minister to answer questions about vaccine safety and to enhance transparency. However, he said, “it became clear that truth and transparency are not what the minister is seeking, but rather the subordinate confirmation of his misinformation and lies.”
