On Sunday, at the age of 90, American actor Richard Chamberlain, the holder of three golden globe and stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, died as a result of stroke. TASR reports this according to the New York Post.
Chamberlain died on Sunday in Waimanalo in Hawaii as a result of stroke complications. For the weekly Variety, it was confirmed by publicist Harlan Boll.
“Our beloved Richard is already with angels,” said Martin Rabbett, Chamberlain’s long -time partner. “He is free and hovers to the loved ones in front of us,” he added.

Chamberlain was born on March 31, 1934 in Beverly Hills. He is known from Dr. Kildare, where he portrayed the main character. He won the Golden Globe and three gold medals of the American film magazine Photoplay for his performance. He lasted five seasons in the series.
In the 1970s he was one of the most sought -after Hollywood actors. He became famous for films such as Three Musketeers, Count Monte Christisto, a man with an iron mask, a prisoner of the Japanese islands or from the series Birds in Taňn or Šogún.
He also worked on the theater scene in Britain and the USA. Retirement appeared in the series Desperate Wives, Brothers and Sisters or the town of Twin Peaks
He publicly confessed to homosexuality in his autobiographical book Shattered Love (2003). He lived in Hawaii and was involved in protecting the environment.
