WHO has appealed to gather eight million dollars (about 7.4 million euros) to meet the immediate health needs, “in order to save lives, prevent disease and stabilize and restore essential health services.”

In Myanmar, “the supply of electricity and water is still interrupted, complicating access to health services and increasing the risk of water and food -transmitted outbreaks,” the organization added.
