A woman was arrested in the act by the Federal Police for carrying about 1.5kg of cocaine hidden in her clothes at Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday night (29).
The 22 -year -old detainee would embark on a commercial flight to Lisbon, Portugal, Europe.
The drugs were identified hidden under passenger clothes during routine inspections by agents of the PF Special Police Station at Rio de Janeiro International Airport (Deain).
The woman will be responsible for the crime of international drug trafficking and the penalty may reach up to 25 years in prison. The suspicion will be sent to the State Prison System and will remain available to the court.
