Casa Darcy Ribeiro, located in Maricá (RJ) and dedicated to events about the anthropologist and former Minister of Education and the discussion of ideas about Brazil, will promote, from 10 to 12 April, the series of lectures “Maricá Inventiva – Creativity in the service of development”.
Among the event’s speakers will be the economists and columnists of the Sheetbetween others.
The house, located on Cordeirinho Beach, in the city of the coast of Rio de Janeiro, was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer, was where Darcy (1922-97) wrote part of his work. It today is a cultural equipment of the local city hall.
