Dies Jorge Braun, Ceará journalist who worked in Acre for over 40 years

Journalist Jorge Braun, Cearense who had lived in Acre 40 years ago, has just died this Sunday afternoon (30) at the Rio Branco Base Hospital. Professor, biologist and radio announcer, at 61, he died for respiratory complications after more than three months hospitalized after a motorcycle accident.

Braun has undergone various communications and public positions. He was even awarded by the Public Prosecution Service of the State of Acre for reports on citizenship. It was packed with the Rio Branco City Hall, as a press officer of the Municipal Secretariat of Zelast and Care Care.

In December last year, when he left a party, he hit the motorcycle riding another motorcycle in the Baixada da Sobral region. He was very injured and was taken to the Base Hospital ICU, where he underwent a traquectescomia procedure. Last week, he showed improvements and was extubated, leaving the ICU.

In the early hours of Sunday, with visible signs of shortness of breath, he was intubated again and eventually died is late. There is no information on wake and burial place yet.
