Königsberger-Ludwig speaks against performance cuts in “ZIB 2”

Vienna-State Secretary for Health Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig (SPÖ) “does not want to talk about reductions in performance in medical care”. Instead, she wants to “strengthen trust in the public health system,” she said on Sunday in the ORF-ZiB2. Even if health insurance companies would have to save, the quality of treatment should not decrease. Rather, Königsberger-Ludwig wants to expand prevention and better “steer” patients.
