Bolsonaro’s allies went to social networks to minimize an amnesty demonstration; Former President called a new protest to April 6
Opposition members to the President (PT) minimized the reach of acts against amnesty to the January 8 prisoners held on Sunday (30.mar.2025). At least 8 capitals summoned demonstrations. The largest concentration took place in São Paulo, in Oswaldo Cruz Square, near Paulista Avenue.
The act was summoned by the federal deputy (PSOL-SP) and featured speeches from the PT leader in the House, Lindebergh Farias (RJ), and Deputy Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP). Boulos that the act gathered more people than the protest organized by the former president (PL) and Pastor Silas Malafaia on March 16, in Rio.
However, according to the count made by the Poder360about 5,450 people were at the peak of the demonstration in the state capital this Sunday. The number is well below what was calculated in the pro-administration of March 16, which 26,000 people in Copacabana.
The low adherence to the act organized from the left was satirized by opposing congressmen to the government on social networks. Bolsonaro will make a new act for forgiveness to those arrested on January 8 next Sunday (6.abr.2025), on Paulista Avenue.
