United States President Donald Trump spoke to reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday, addressing a series of topics, including tariffs, Tiktok and Ukraine.
Trump said the reciprocal tariffs he should announce this week will include all nations, not just a group less than 10 to 15 countries with the largest commercial imbalances.
“You would start with all countries,” reporters told Air Force One.
“Essentially all the countries we are talking about,” he added.
Trump also said he thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin wants a ceasefire agreement, “I don’t think he’s going back in his word.”
He had previously said in an interview with the NBC he was and would impose 25% to 50% secondary rates on Russian oil buyers feel that Moscow is blocking his efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
Trump also said he will make a decision on Iran’s secondary tariffs based on whether Tehran makes an agreement on his nuclear program.
“I would prefer an agreement, that I think everyone on this plane knows what it is. And that won’t be beautiful and I don’t prefer it,” Trump added.
The US President also commented on the progress of the process of
“We have many potential buyers. There is a tremendous interest in Tiktok, the decision will be mine, as you know, through Congress, they gave me the power to make the decision,” he said.
“We are dealing with China who also wants because they can have something to do with it […] Tiktok is very interesting and many people want to buy it. Well, there will be a deal with Tiktok, I’m sure, ”he added.
