A 1 -year -old baby drowned in a pool in the municipality of Gloria do Goitá, in the North Mata Zone of Pernambuco, at dawn on Sunday (30).
The child was accompanied by family members who attended an event, in a party house, located in the rural area of the city. The Civil Police began investigations to investigate the circumstances of death.
According to information obtained by CNNRelatives noticed the absence of the baby and found him already unconscious in the pool. The child was taken to the Mixed Unit Maria Gaião Guerra, but has arrived at the place lifeless.
The baby’s body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML), and, after release, was buried in the local cemetery. The Pernambuco Civil Police treats the case as a fatality and recorded the occurrence as a guilty drowning, characterized by the absence of intention.
