The president (PT) signaled allies he will look for and members of the summit from this week to advance with the negotiations of a ministerial reform in his government.

Although even petista assistants do not risk the reach of these exchanges on the terrace, there is an expectation that these conversations can unlock negotiations – who have dragged on for months.

The idea is that this can happen now that Lula is back in Brazil, after an international trip to Japan and Vietnam last week. For the international mission, the President of the Republic invited the presidents of the Chamber, (-PB), and ((União Brasil-AP), as well as ministers and leaders of parties such as MDB, União Brasil and, in signaling a search for approach with Congress.

Also in the entourage were the former mayor (PP-AL) and the former president of the Senate (PSD-MG). Both Pacheco and Lira were part of the betting scholarship to assume ministries. However, and ruled out his trip to the government.

Already Lira has told interlocutors that there were no concrete conversations about the matter and that he intends to dedicate himself to the presidency of the Federation between PP and União Brasil, if this alliance between the two parties is confirmed. An ally of the deputy, however, says that his entry into the government is not ruled out if there is an invitation to a folder considered strategic.

Four parliamentarians who joined the entourage told the report that this performance of Lula to approach deputies and senators help the government. They recognize that the trip has a positive balance in this regard, given the president’s effort.

They stated that since the beginning of the petista’s third term, congressmen have charged the president’s direct involvement in the political articulation, as well as a greater dialogue.

There is an assessment among parliamentarians that the government has shown since the beginning of the year wanting to improve the environment with the legislature after two years of.

In this sense, they say that Lula signals a new model of relationship with parliamentarians, with more frequent encounters and narrower dialogue. Although this promise has been made on other occasions in this term, two congressmen claim to have felt a change in posture of the chief executive on the trip.

According to one leader, reduced tensions should allow the president to discuss, in a second moment and in a more favorable situation, topics such as exchanges on the terrace and guidelines of interest to the Planalto Palace.

Another congressman who was in the entourage states that this movement of Lula undergoes an approximation of the president with Alcolumbre and Motta. Since, in February,, besides inviting them to ceremonies on the plateau and for travel-algo that wants to make more frequent from now on.

In another gesture in this regard, Lula should look for Motta and Alcolumbre individually to deal with ministerial exchanges, according to an ally of the mayor. There are expectations of the petista’s allies that these conversations may have advanced during the trip, as the three have talked alone at times.

Nevertheless, they say that the most in -depth conversations about this topic should start now. The president himself said in Japan that “would not be crazy” to discuss the matter during the trip. “I brought them and made sure that we did not make any discussion on the plane we could make on the ground. When we go back to Brazil, we will discuss the things we have to argue,” he said.

According to two ministers, Lula also signaled his intention to look for presidents of parties who have representatives in his government to move from these conversations. According to one of these assistants, he cited the names of PSD presidents, and Republicans ,.

The discussions about the reform of the terrace occur in. Today, they are part of the allied base acronyms that consider launching their own candidacy for the presidency, such as União Brasil, PSD (each with three ministries) and Republicans (with a folder).

There are also André Fufuca at the head of the Ministry of Sport and a wing.

Although some subtitles complain of the space they have today on the Esplanade, there is a petista in a moment of falling popularity.

In addition, they say there would be little time to stay ahead of a ministry – that the legislation provides that, to run for, a candidate must leave office until April 2026.

Presidents of center acronyms, at the sights of Lula’s next conversations, do not guarantee support in 2026. In recent months, some of them have made public criticism of petista management. In January, Kassab and stated that the PT would lose the election if it occurred at that time.

In March, the president of União Brasil, Antonio Rueda, said that the petista lived the worst moment of his third term and that he needed to hear the allied parties more.

Marcos Pereira, from Republicans, the party of the governor of São Paulo, publicly said that the tendency is for the party to walk with a right-right candidacy in the next election.

This year, Lula officialized the exchange in three folders: A (Secretariat of Social Communication), in place of (PT); that of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations, in place of (PT); and a, in place of.

Lula’s allies also no longer discard exchanges in PT folders. They cite, headed by Márcio Macêdo, the Ministry of Women, led by Cida Gonçalves, the Ministry of Agrarian Development, which has Paulo Teixeira at the head of the portfolio, and the Ministry of Social Development, headed by Wellington Dias.
