Michael Ludwig (SPÖ) Vienna has been ruling as mayor for seven years, and he will be elected again in almost four weeks. On Monday evening he was a guest in the “ZiB2” for an interview with moderator Armin Wolf. At the beginning, Wolf Ludwig immediately appeals to the city’s budget deficit – 3.8 billion, a focal period in comparison to the debt to Ludwig’s taking office. He assumes another budget deficit, Ludwig replies that more has been able to save more than forecast in recent years. The forecast of 3.8 billion is of his own financial city council, he admits, but has been encouraged to save all departments.
