Between March 28th and 30th, it was present at B-Travel-El Salón del Turismo, in Barcelona, considered the largest tourism fair in Spain and annually attracts thousands of travel enthusiasts.
“The participation of Olhão in this strategic event demonstrates the municipality’s commitment to promote its tourist potential and attract more and more visitors to the county,” said the vice president of the municipality, Ricardo Calé, who was also present in the event.
Integrated in the stand of the Algarve Tourism Region, Olhão stood out alongside seven other Algarvios municipalities, in a space that allowed to highlight the diversity and quality of its tourist offer-from historical and cultural richness to natural landscapes and local gastronomy, recognized for authenticity and freshness.
With about 50,000 visitors registered in this edition, B-TRAVEL has proved a valuable opportunity to make it known to the Iberian market.
The presence at the fair “allowed to establish contacts with professionals from the tourism sector and potential tourists, opening doors for new opportunities for growth and tourism development”, stressed Ricardo Calé at the end of the event.
Participation in Barcelona has contributed to reinforce the image of “Olhão as a tourist destination of excellence, capable of satisfying the most diverse interests. With its natural beauty, cultural heritage and diverse tourist supply, the cubist city has everything to conquer the hearts of Spanish travelers and around the world,” added the mayor.
