Poland responds to the outbreaks of clinkers and coffers in Europe by tightening border controls, said Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
On Tuesday, the Polish government decided in connection with the threat of clinseed and croys on tightening controls at the border with Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany. This was announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, TASR informs, referring to the Oneet news portal and Tygodnik Adviser Relniczy.
“Today, together with the Minister (Agriculture and Rural Development Czeslaw), we decided to intensify border controls with Slovakia, but also with the Czech Republic and Germany, so that transports from the regions affected by the clinker and the wing are not allowed to Poland … All transports from these three countries.
He stated that all transports coming from these three countries to Poland will be subjected to preventive and prophylactic controls at the border. According to him, the aim is to prevent imports, among other things, calves from Slovakia, where it is not certain that they are not infected with a clinker and a wing.
Tygodnik Adviser Relniczy recalls that the first focus of the clinkers and Krivačky appeared in January in the German Federal State of Brandeburg and in the past weeks also in Hungary and Slovakia.
In Germany, the infection that broke out in the breeding of water buffaloes managed to eliminate, which was also recognized by the World Animal Health Organization in mid -March, ARD reported.
