For the second night so far this year, Russia did not release any Shahed Dron on Ukrainian territory. As reported from kyiv, during the night of April 1, the Russian army did not perform any air attack of this type, which is a relief – excessively ephemeral – for the Ukrainian air defense forces.
This information has been known thanks to the fact that there was no report by the Ukrainian defense that notified any movement of this type. Neither the Official Website of the Ukrainian Air Force nor the monitoring channel used by the Ukraine Defense Managers.
With this there are two nights so far this year, that Russia does not carry out any air attack, after that of March 14. Despite this, there was military activity, since despite notifying any severe movement, from Ukraine they detected some threats in the form of plain air pumps on the border of some reions such as Sumy, Zaporiyia or Donetsk.
In global terms and in accordance with the reports published by the Ukrainian Air Force, during the month of March 2025, they managed to destroy a total of 4,043 enemy air targets, while intercepted 25 kh-101/kh-55sm cruise missiles, another iskander-m/kN-23 and eight kalibr cruise missiles, among others.
On the other hand, a total of 2,328 Shahed drones were also destroyed in addition to 805 recognition and another 874. Among the most prominent attacks by the Russian air forces, the one on March 29, when a Russian kamikaze drone Shahed attacked a military hospital in Jarkov, damaging a hospital and several nearby homes.
