Second attack by Israel in Beirut in the middle of high fire: three dead and seven injured

At least three dead and seven wounded left an Israeli attack in a suburb of Beirut that was announced by the Israel Defense forces (FDI) as an action against “a terrorist” of the Chií Lebanese group.

The IDF indicated in a statement known this Tuesday in the early morning that the attack had as a white a “terrorist” of Hizbulá who had recently helped the Islamist group in shares against Israeli civilians.

He did not give immediate statements about the identity of the objective of this attack, which is the second against the capital of the country in the middle of the fragile truce of four months, in response to a previous symbolic launch of rockets from the Lebanon, which left no damage to northern Israel, its Diana. “Due to the immediate threat represented by the terrorist, the FDI and the ISA (Israel Security Agency) acted to eliminate it and eliminate the threat,” added the FDI statement.

According to the Lebanese newspaper the Israeli attack resulted in three dead and seven injured in a building near the Imam El-Kazem Mosque, in the Sfeir district.

The attack occurred after the leader of Hizbulá, Naim Qasem, assured last Saturday that if Israel does not leave the country and continues with his aggression against Lebanon, “there will be no choice but to opt for other options”, although he reiterated his commitment to the high fire.

Qasem spoke those words one day after an Israel attack at Dahye, the suburbs in southern Beirut.

“This resistance (Hizbulá) remains present and committed to the agreement (high fire) at this stage, but if Israel does not commit to the agreement, and the Lebanon failed to achieve the expected result at the political level, there will be no choice but to opt for other options,” Qasem said in a televised speech.

A “WARNING”

The Lebanese president, Joseph Aoun, considered that the Israeli attack is a “warning” by the Jewish state and requested measures against anyone who offers “pretexts” to continue bombing.

The Head of State advocated seeking the support of the international community to help him guarantee his “right to full sovereignty” and also stop possible “infiltrated within Lebanon that provides an additional pretext for aggression” Israeli, according to a statement from the Lebanese presidency.

The Lebanese authorities have arrested a series of people for the initial attack against the north of the neighboring state, from which no group has claimed authorship and that occurred a week after the Shií Hizbulá formation was disconnected from a similar incident. Therefore, Aoun called on Tuesday to seek a “greater internal unit” no longer throwing overboard the “exceptional opportunity” that currently exists to save Lebanon, while condemning the new action against the Estoarradio Beirutí.

“It is dangerous to have premeditated intentions against Lebanon, especially at the time it occurred, after the firm in Yeda (west of Saudi Arabia) of an agreement to control the border between Lebanon and Syria,” the president settled, according to the note.
