How to prepare and use a tea solution
Preparing tea solution for seed germination is a simple but effective way to promote rapid growth of plants. The tea solution has proved to be a great germination tool, especially in plants that usually need a long time or have problems with germinating.
To prepare the tea solution, take a small cloth pocket or bag in which you put the seeds and close it on three sides. Place pockets with seeded seeds in a small container, such as a bowl or a cup. Pour a cup of fresh, chilled black tea on the seeds. Let the seeds soak this solution for 24 hours. Then you pour the water and repeat the process three more times, with each new soaking to take 24 hours again. After the fourth soaking, let the seeds dry on the napkin and prepare for sowing.
This method significantly shortens the time required to germinate the seeds. While the normal germination of some plants may take months, with the help of tea solution, the seeds can start germinating in two to three weeks. This simple trick is especially useful for growing species that have a long time of germination, or for seeds that are old or dry. After performing this method, you can often look forward to strong seedlings in a few weeks.
Using chamomile tea
Chamomile tea is also a great choice to support germination. It contains tannins that help speed up the germination process and at the same time protect the seeds from rot and molds. Soaking seeds in chamomile tea is great for preventing various diseases that can damage young plants. This tea is very fine, but effective, and gives the seeds great conditions for healthy growth.
So if you are looking for a simple and effective way to support the germination of your plants, it is definitely worth trying this tea trick. Whether you use classic black tea or chamomile, you can look forward to faster and stronger seedlings that will bring you beautiful results. Do not forget to prepare your tea solution and give the seeds the best chance of success!
