Botafogo will not have the midfielder Savarino in the debut at the Copa Libertadores, away from home, against Universidad de Chile. The game will be this Wednesday (02/04), at 21h30 (Brasília time), at the National Stadium of Santiago.
Savarino is suspected of injury and, according to the “Lance” portal, remained in Rio de Janeiro for exams. He felt muscle pain in the goalless draw against Palmeiras, for Brasileirão, on Sunday (30), and had to be replaced.
With eight matches, a goal and an assistance this year, the Venezuelan was a fundamental piece during the winning of Libertadores 2024 and holds the team of Renato Paiva. It must be replaced by Matheus Martins.
