Waiting for Hugo, opposition meets amnesty with Bolsonaro

The opposition bench to the government met on Tuesday with former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to discuss strategies to try to advance the process of the bill that provides amnesty to those convicted of the attacks of 8 January 2023.

What does the project say?

The text proposes the amnesty to condemned persons, covering protesters, truckers, entrepreneurs and other participants of protests held between October 30, 2022 and the date of entry into force of the eventual law.
