The deadline for submission of applications to the 7th edition of the extended until April 11, allowing small and medium Portuguese companies to share their stories of ambition, resilience and persistence.
The initiative, promoted by Yunit Consulting since 2016, has distinguished 70 companies in Portugal and has been evolving to share good practices in various areas, such as digital transformation, sustainability and internationalization.
This extension of the deadline comes at a time when the 2025 edition has already surpassed the number of applications received in the previous year. Until March 31, 109 applications were submitted, which represents a 22% growth compared to the 89 registered in 2024.
Despite the recorded increase, Yunit Consulting believes that there are still many good stories to tell in the universe of Portuguese SMEs. Companies distinguished in SME heroes will not only benefit from public visibility, but will have access to various awards, which include specialized ment, consulting, legal support, training and integration into a strategic networking network.

According to Bernardo Maciel, CEO of Yunit Consulting, “the Heroes PME initiative is not just a prize, but a true movement of appreciation of companies that drive the Portuguese economy.
